About our program
At Campbell University our new Information Technology and Security program has been created to give students both a well-rounded liberal arts education and real-world Information Technology training.
Our program contains two tracks: Information Technology Security (ITS) and Information Technology Management (ITM).
The ITS track is geared toward Networking, Computer Forensics, Cyber Terrorism, and National Security, hot 21st century careers that are not outsourced.
The other track is Information Technology Management. This track concentrates on Software Engineering, Database Management and E-Commerce.
The Campbell Univeraity IT program boldly predicts that the Internet is not going to disappear, and thus jobs building Internet applications are not going to disappear either!
Our program graduates students who can articulate and communicate technical concepts in a large group setting, We also emphasize certifications.
Students are expected to join the IEEE Society, where membership allows them to take certification exams that accurately monitor students' progress and professor effectiveness.
